Established in 2014 through generous support from the SC state legislature, the SCTA is headquartered and administered out of the Center for Telehealth at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

Mission:

Improve the health of all South Carolinians through telehealth.

Vision:

Use of virtual care services in South Carolina will demonstrably contribute to the improvement of the health status of the state’s population, with strong emphasis on rural and underserved communities.

The SC Telehealth Experience

  • “Being able to delivery the same quality of care or extremely high level of care through a virtual visit is invaluable to for a lot of our patients and families.”
